When inpatient care makes sense

Inpatient treatment is for moments when symptoms are severe enough that daily life feels unmanageable — or when your clinical team determines you need round-the-clock support to stabilize. You live on our Manchester campus with a full schedule of therapy, groups, and psychiatric care.

Many clients also have substance use in the picture. We treat both together — dual-diagnosis care is built into how we work, not added as an afterthought.

As you stabilize, the goal is a clear step-down plan — often to residential, PHP, or our broader mental health program — so gains hold after discharge.
