PAYING FOR TREATMENT

Insurance covers more than most people think

Under federal parity law, most health plans must cover addiction treatment the same way they cover any other medical care. We verify your benefits for free — usually within the same phone call — and explain exactly what your plan covers before you commit to anything.

GOOD TO KNOW

Common questions

Don't see your question? Call us — there's no such thing as a silly question when you're worried about yourself or someone you love.

How long does admission take?

Often less than 24 hours from first call to arrival. If a bed is available and your benefits verify quickly, same-day admission is common.

Will my employer find out?

Not from us. Your treatment is protected by HIPAA and 42 CFR Part 2, the federal confidentiality law specific to substance use treatment. The FMLA may also protect your job while you're in care.

What should I bring?

Comfortable clothes for about a week, your ID and insurance card, and a list of current medications. We'll send a complete packing list before you arrive — and we securely store anything that can't come onto the unit.

Can my family visit?

Yes. Family involvement improves outcomes, so we build visitation and a structured family program into residential treatment after the first several days.

What if I've been to treatment before?

Relapse doesn't mean treatment failed — it means the plan needs adjusting. Many of our clients have tried before. We'll build on what worked and change what didn't.
